At Bayou Chien Raw Foods, your pet’s safety and well-being are our highest priority. Because we sell perishable raw nutrition and consumable pet products, our refund and return policy is designed to ensure product integrity and safety.

Raw Dog & Cat Nutrition (Frozen Products)

Due to the perishable nature of raw pet nutrition, all sales of frozen raw products are final.

  • We do not accept returns on raw dog or cat nutrition

  • We do not offer refunds on frozen products once they have left our possession

This policy helps ensure proper handling, storage, and safety for all pets.

If you receive an incorrect item, damaged packaging, or have a quality concern, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery or pickup with clear photos so we can review the issue.

Treats (Dehydrated & Baked Products)

Treats may be eligible for replacement or store credit under limited circumstances.

  • Treats must be unopened and unused

  • Requests must be made within 7 days of delivery or pickup

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable

Opened or partially consumed treats are not eligible for return or refund.

Paw Balm & Topical Products

For hygiene and safety reasons:

  • Opened or used paw balm is final sale

  • Unopened paw balm may be eligible for store credit if requested within 7 days

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect:

  1. Contact us within 24 hours

  2. Provide photos of the product and packaging

  3. We will review the issue and determine whether a replacement or store credit is appropriate

Local Pickup, Delivery & Farmers Market Sales

All purchases made through:

  • Local pickup

  • Local delivery

  • Farmers markets

  • In-person events

are considered final sale.

Please inspect your items at the time of pickup or purchase.

Refund Method

Approved refunds or credits will be issued as:

  • Store credit or

  • Refund to the original payment method (when applicable)
